McRae Mews

McRae Mews

This 1970s two-level townhouse underwent an extensive makeover, from its original enclosed plan to an open space where the couple’s art collection and antiques could shine. Using the clients’ inspiration of Provence as a starting point of inspiration, the home was treated to light earthy textures of stone and wood, including the spectacular herringbone-patterned floors. The colour-loving clients were keen on mixing and matching varying styles, from antique cabinets to a pop art-coloured striped staircase runner.
